Chichibio - SERMONETA

Very nice restaurant, they think they go into a cave, but it is a very nice restaurant in the heart of sermoneta, where they can have excellent eating! there are some beautiful pieces of modern paintings on the very antique walls!

We had drinks and a pizza. the personal was very friendly, but the pizza was not Italian. a little disappointed. we have the meaning (can not be right) that the crust was not made to house, which is not done by rough in italy. that is beautiful. but there are better places in sermoneta according to our opinion. but again: that was just the pizza. there could be better menu choices.

I was really happy. the starter was also ass and diavola pizza. red wine and limoncello were the best. highly recommended.

Sermoneta is a small lovely medioeval town located on mountains at South of Rome and next to Latina. If you have opportunity to visit this nice place and its castle, then don't miss Chichibio, a nice tavern located right on the central way of Sermoneta....It is simple family running place but fulfilled of relax and comfort. Tables are tiny and suited both for Summer and Winter times. Keepers are friendly and helpful. We tried turistic menu offer and we weren't disappointed. Wine of the house was wonderful as like as rosmarin bread. The first course included hand made pasta, second course was grilled meat served with fresh salad or rosted potatos (meat selection was good just a bit too much burned). Final good surprise was price. Complete menu for 2 persons at less than 40€. Definitively a place worth to return.
