Feedback gevenLovely small restaurant in the middle of Alentejo, with home-made cuisine. I've been there twice, always perfect! My favourite dish is "Bacalhau com espinafres", but everything else is also great, especially the desserts.
The restaurant has very tasty (traditional) food, a nice service had it is affordable, even tough a bit higher priced than the restaurants in the same city. It is a bit isolated from the Center, but it's closeby.
I'm glad to add this restaurant to the places ill always refer when going to Serpa.Went for dinner and ate the Octopus and Black Porc "secretos". Both of the dishes were godlike!The octopus "A lagareiro" is as simple as fantastic. 5 ingredients: Octopus, potatoes, olive oil, garlic, salt... To result in such a good dish of course the ingredients have to be perfect.The black pork was also amazing. Full of flavor and with delicious homemade fries.The desert was not so typical but also amazing. A panacotta with white chocolate that was really good.Whenever i'm in the are ill definitely coming back!
Lovely quaint and friendly place with delicious black pork and good vinho. Waitress even spoke good English which was a bonus
A bit hard to find but well worth it. From the outside it looks similar to a warehouse. We were too early, as we usually seem to be in Portugal, but we were rewarded after a short wait with staff who were friendly and patient with our attempts at Portuguese. We enjoyed good food and the interesting décor. We sat next to the aquarium. Try the bola de bolachas for dessert!
