Les Galets Serriera

A lovely location on the beach. The lady who seemed to be in charge made us a lunch booking and seemed very friendly. We both had le loup de mer, which was excellent. But our experience was marred somewhat by the man who served us. We do speak French, but we are not very fluent. This man spoke very quickly and just didn 't listen when we asked him to slow down. He seemed to be annoyed when we didn 't understand and just kept saying, 'you don 't speak French ' over and over again. In the end, we left without dessert as we were made to feel unwelcome as we couldn 't accommodate his speed of French (not to mention his rudeness). A shame because in all the other French restaurants we have visited in the area we have communicated very happily in French and have been made very welcome.

Pleasant beach restaurant. Excellent pizza from the oven, well-groomed and delicious fish dishes, excellent red from Patrimonia. I can only recommend.
