Excellent dishes and very well maintained, tasty and fresh mushrooms, homemade pasta, abundant portions. Price for quality and location. We'll definitely come back.
We just wanted to Back-country ski on a sunny Saturday but after a couple of hours it was hard to not stop right in front of the Bistrot for reserving a romantic 2 seater hood/solid/engraved table. Astonishing architecture nicely integrated with the land and the local environment, the Bistrot is also well known for his Chef Christian, Kate the Boss), Katalin, Julia, Greta, Ida and Patz, the perfect team for the perfect guests to get amused with hangus burgers we had those really rear) and related spicy deeps, roasted local wild potatoes or Sud Tirol gourmet dishes or amazing deserts. Bottom line : we 'll go back next week hoping the snow 'll be still good, if not, no problem, the Bistrot-quality-time-food and friendly atmosphere it ' ll be more then fine ! Matteo Petra Bof
We finished in this cafe after the loop hike up to Dreizinnenhutte and back which was 22km and so were exhausted. We ordered cold beers with snacks and enjoyed the spectacular view.
This bistrot is an absolute gem! The location is unbeatable: in the heart of Val Fiscalina, you sit on a beautiful terrace with only the mountains in front of you. The view is so beautiful, you want to pinch yourself to make sure it is real! The food is also lovely: all local specialties and very well made. We had the spatzli, egg/speck/potato platter, barley soup and cakes and they were exclent. Small portions available for kids, seating is available outside and indoors. Fabulous, we will come back!
A surprise not too pleasant. we are habitual, I admit, but we like to find every winter the same wonderful peaks, and eat like a rite in the same restaurant finding the same people, now they become old friends. Today, when we arrived in the tax valley, we found the hotel disembarked to non-residents, and bar and restaurant transferred to a new structure, very modern and well inserted in the landscape, but very cold. very kind lady ida, but the feeling of being "second category guest" a little remains. and while there are the same menu as the dolomitenhof restaurant, the quality is not the same.
