Il Barba Sel - SESTRIERE

We went there for a family dinner of four people. Staff was very friendly when we made reservation by phone, and still very friendly when we arrived. We could choose a table in a quieter part of the restaurant as they were expecting a large group (30 people) in the main part. Standard pizza were very tasty, served promptly and at a reasonable price. We also had veal with blue cheese, well served and also very good. They recommended some local wine by the glass, a good match. All in all, just what we wanted, a good no-frills meal in a relaxed setting. We will go back.

For me the best restaurant in Sestriere Very beautiful room and very tasty food,not cheap but in my opinion a good value for money.

They serve you wine in proper crystal glasses and the cutlery's nice and shiny but this is essentially nonna's home cooking. Rustic fans will drool with glee. Menu treats include Timo cheese, served on sweet red cabbage mopped up with homemade focaccia), cubes of boar which come served in a crust of bread amazing) and steak though their medium is borderline raw) with porcini. Save just enough room for the melting chocolate dessert, a classic but done oh so well! Good value £40 per head, 3 course with wine).

The place is nice with a singer who treats customers who eat well enough, but the price is high for what you eat. I don't know.

I was at the last census of the year. great food, drink idem. sited for the company. There was a table of guys quite unleashed as well as being rather ugly and banged.) amazing scenes, pens torn from pants, blasphemies for perdiphy and vulgar sexual appreciation to the waiters. positive note is that they were thrown out. Good dessert, we'll come back.
