Salade Chèvre Chaud nice but not remarkable. Waiter could not be bothered to put plates on the table - just left them hanging in the air for us to take ourselves. Won't be going back.
Had a lovely dinner here. Waiter was helpful - checked translation for something I didn't recognise on the menu (turned out to be whelks, so I passed!). Tuna was excellent.
Very friendly staff. Set menu but husband has a fish allergy and they happily swapped items for him to choose from. Lovely fresh food. My order came out wrong and they were very apologetic and swapped straight away. Would highly recommend
Set menu with a lot of choice. You can have two or three courses, both options reasonably priced. We had the local tuna and it was delicious. Drink prices were fine and service good. On a busy street, overlooking the port, with a nice, shaded terrace.
We had lunch here and our experience was sub-par.First, the setting is on the canal but that's actually not a good thing as you are right near the street that everyone has to take to get in or out of the old town so there is constant traffic.Had the specialty pie for appetizer and it felt like it had just been microwaved. Then the moules frites were OK, nothing special while my wife's gambas plate had 3 gambas and two half potatoes (and a ton of oil).Service was also quite slow despite the restaurant being fairly empty. All in all, I'm sure there are better places to have lunch in Sete.
