We both chose something from the daily specials menu which was prepared freshly and afterwards the Chef popped out to see if we had enjoyed our meal which we thought was a nice touch. Clearly the restaurant enjoys a good amount of local trade which is not surprising given its quality. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
This restaurant was away from the touristy water front. Working on previous reviews, it seemed like we might see some higher quality fare. The restaurant is on rue Gambetta there are tables outside on a reasonably lively street. We went for the menu off of the blackboard. Starters included prawns and avocado salad and a smoked salmon and prawn salad both were fresh and vibrant, but absolutely huge! They could've easily been a main course on their own! Main courses of beef brochettes with frites, cuttlefish and sea bream all were good, however the accompaniments were lacking, although after the size of starters it didn't matter too much! The panna cotta for dessert was brilliant! Service was slightly slow but very friendly serving staff! All in all, a very enjoyable meal would recommend!
We've been travelling around the south of France for a week and this is the best restaurant so far! Great fish dishes and amazing service X
An excellent burger, delicious meat, well cooked, and bun, and cheese, finally all good, a feast! my dish with Asian spirit was missing personality, marinade herbs, but vegetables were fresh and very tender meat. We'll go back and try other dishes.
Ultra fresh cuisine, impeccable cuisine and very pleasant reception! I strongly recommend this table at the beginning of a pedestrian street.
