Fresh creations every day. Amazing value for money and subtle veggie and fruit flavours. Plus wonderful gluten free pastries. Great for a stop outside designated lunch and dinner hours.

After a long train ride to Setubal we walked here from the station. This is a buffet style vegetarian restaurant where you select from a range of fresh salads, fruits and savoury items. The service was excellent and the restaurant is very clean. Free wifi and clean bathrooms. Just what we needed to relax and recharge.

O Canteiro is a buffet type restaurant/cafeteria with Vegetarian and Vegan options. Most days you have menu options which include a dish for which you will pick your buffet choices, and varied additional options like fresh juice, soup, deserts and others. On Sundays you have an all you can eat Brunch with several options. The food is of a good level for a buffet, nothing too fancy or chic, but food for all tastes. Given it is an all day available vegetarian buffet, I do give it max evaluation on TripAdvisor, it does deserve it. If you are a vegetarian in Setúbal go here, you will not be disappointed.

I must admit this was my first visit in a year! I was very pleased to see that not only is their food still amazing, they are now open for dinner too! Mondays to Thursdays until 10 pm. Order your birthday cakes (vegan and/or gluten free) Want homemade seitan? They sell it! They also have takeaway!

Just perfect if you’re vegan. Buffet with many vegan options and even vegan dessert. Loved it
