Never knew patatas to be so bad. We also got the other vegan option, a hot dog, which was ok. I 'm sorry we chose this place, not only because the food is not great but also because the name, 'the crazy gypsy ' is pejorative and racist. Didn 't feel good to eat here. Están bien las opciones. Tienen hasta una carta específica con ellas, lo que se agradece. Probé el wrap, lo noté muy escaso en relleno, era todo lechuga, y las patatas la verdad que sí que estaban ricas.
We ate here on our first night in Seville. We arrived late in the evening and found this place with a quick search on Happy Cow. It was close by, so we went. We found the restaurant easily, but the menus didn’t have any of the vegan options shown. I eventually noticed the vegan menu/sign behind the counter. It’s there, but you have to look around a little. I got the chicken sandwich and my wife got a chicken wrap and we shared papas bravas. The wrap and sandwich were very small and hardly had any chick’n in them. The papas bravas were pretty good. A few potato pieces weren’t fully cooked, but most of them were hot and crispy and the sauce was good. I hope it was actually vegan. Nobody there speaks English, so all we can do is trust the menu. The restaurant has tables in a big plaza with tables for other restaurants. Each restaurant seemed to have their own tables to check with them before you sit down so you sit in the right place, or eat inside. You have to pay when you order, so if you want more drinks you have to go back in an pay again. We would have bought more drinks, but we went somewhere else instead since we had to pay again anyway. We enjoyed eating in the plaza for what that’s worth and we were tired from traveling all day, so we weren’t picky, but there was no desire to go back here once we were rested and had more time to find better places to eat.
I only tried the patatas bravas and a ladron de manzanas and liked them, but they’re the first vegan bravas I have found so I have nothing to compare them to. Really cheap.
Las espinas con garbanzos son todo un acierto, y la hamburguesa vegana también tiene muy buen sabor. Hay carta vegana bastante clara y los precios son muy asequibles.
