In addition to the hardworking chefs, there were about four other staff members who seemed to be just standing around. Because they chose to leave all the work to Bella, we had to wait about 15 minutes for her to come back and take our orders. After another 15 to 20 minutes, our meals finally arrived. As I mentioned, Bella truly made our visit memorable.
Since it was late, we decided against ordering any entrees and instead focused on appetizers. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the sweet potato fries. For some reason, I had always avoided them, but my fiancé insisted I try them, and wow, they were delicious—especially with the cinnamon butter. My fiancé ordered the nachos, spinach artichoke dip, and traditional sweet honey wings. She loved the nachos, although I found the salsa wasn't to my taste, even though it was a generous portion. The spinach artichoke dip didn’t impress either of us; it was more like a tart sauce covered with cheese, artichokes, and a sprinkle of spinach. She really enjoyed her wings, but with so much food, she ended up bringing some home. I went for the loaded potato skins, which were tasty, although I wished there had been more bacon, sour cream, chives, and maybe some green onions and cheese—can't go wrong with that combination! I also ordered traditional mild wings with blue cheese on the side. The wings were meaty, and while I ordered ten, they gave me five drumsticks and five flats, so I can’t complain. I washed everything down with a Blue Moon and left feeling very happy!
To update my review: I appreciate the response from the staff, but typically, we expect our meals to be served in a larger portion so we don't feel shortchanged. The serving size for the tater tots, in particular, does not justify the price. You have options: either provide more food for the same price, lower the price, or do nothing. If you choose the last option, then there's really no need to respond. You know what you're doing, and your reaction seems more like an attempt to save face than a genuine effort to address the issue.
We often came here, but not anymore. They removed many items from the menu, removed frits of burgers and sandwiches, and hit the prices quite high. Fries are now an extra $6 for everything because nothing comes with Fritten. The cheapest burger is $14. If you get rid of fries, it'll make a $20 burger. This is unacceptable. We really loved this place, but after we come back and see what they did, we will not come here anymore. You can go to a much higher quality restaurant for similar prices. Edit: In response to the answer I received from the store, I would like to stress that the menu is given in bold writing that no frits with burgers or sandwiches are included. To further develop how much has become of a demolition of this place, you will get 6 pieces of cauliflower cabbage for $8. Short ribtacos? $15 for 2 if it at least used to 3. The alcoholic drinks were cheaper than any of the foods. I would still not recommend getting here because of price increases and small portions. If you just want alcohol, but you go to a liqueur.
I went there with my husband and we had a wonderful time. Our server was very friendly, polite and courteous. Our food was amazing and drinks were great too. This is our spot to get away and enjoy good food.
