I would avoid this place I visit seymour again.
The hotel has a really good menu. we shared dives, brucetta and sweet potatoes. all were delicious. the personal could not have been nicer. very busy for a Thursday night. the place!
After the Christmas function of our family not far away we went to the prince of wales beginning afternoon. it is the barfront for the shearasun brewery. because of the floods that the waiters had filled, the cocks were out of line, but there were beers that were good. also while some hours in the shadow of the free beer garden as band voted for the evening. had both snacks and meal times in two. the brisket was too dry, but the calamari and others were good. good atmosphere. would come back here, a funny afternoon.
Large environment and renovated vibes made it a warm and welcoming environment for a quick stop during the trip. the eating were large portion sizes, but I do not agree with tripadvisors “vegetarian friendly” day...minimum vegetarian options were available. the service was quite slow, but our visit was. just after big floods. so that they may have been barely serviced. the employees who served us were friendly and efficient and quickly found us a place, although it was a busy night. a really nice place for a meal or drinks with friends.
My husband used to drink here years ago when he was in the army so it was a nostalgic visit for him. Staff were very good. The steaks we had were absolutely beautiful, cooked to our liking with garlic butter. Hubby even got to talk...to a couple of the locals and found out about some of the places he had been too. All in all a great spot. Good food, place was packed with diners the night we were there.
