We had delicious food! I loved everything we ordered!!! Fun and friendly staff with great prices! To finish it... The apple cheesecake and carrot cake was fabulous!! I highly recommend Uncle Roosters!!! It was fun to write on the floor!

We were thrilled to finally visit this restaurant! Dad really enjoyed his chicken fried steak, and I loved the authentic Italian beef from Chicago—it felt like a little piece of home! The trip was definitely worth it, and I can't wait to come back!

I can't believe I've lived in Fordland for so long and never stopped eating here! My husband tried it first and then brought me! It's one of our favorite places now! Great food and great service..

My brother, his wife and I were in the area to see family. It was time to eat, we wanted a down-home diner/family restaurant. That was the best choice we could have made that we all have roasted chicken, gravy and potatoes. The chicken was fried to the perfect crispy. The chicken breasts were so big that we couldn't eat the thighs. I had a side of fried corn on the Cob that was really delicious. Our waiter was a very polite young man who checked the kitchen twice for questions we had about the order. We did not know that their closing time, we had about 20 minutes before closing, they still made us the fried chicken, served it with a smile and treated us like we regulars. The signing of the ground added to the casual/(we do things little different round here) feeling. We also enjoyed looking at the paintings, veggies. We both bought. In any case, give this place an attempt. If you pass and see the ****, you should stop.

This is our favorite spot for fried chicken! The hot dogs and hamburgers are great as well, but it’s a bit too much to have all in one meal.
