This place is a pretty decent dive bar. Absolutely no frills, shot and a beer kind of place. For those that are looking for somewhere that opens early, such as a third shift worker, they open at 7:00 a.m. smoking is not permitted as well. They also have a parking lot in the back of the building. Kind of off of the beaten path.

Joe the bar tender is a very good guy and he is very nice to talk to

Ford 's is a great little bar in Shaler, right out of Millvale. It 's what one would consider a dive bar but the locals are really friendly as is Beethoven, the dog of the owner typically there only in the early afternoon). The bartender always has our drinks beers) ready as we 're walking in the door and the prices are very affordable!!

Bar is a very local establishment and it takes a while for the regulars to adapt to you. Plus the cologne that someone (bartender? is wearing could drown a small village.
