Lost Mined Brewing Company - Shamokin

Visited this bar on a late night, as I live just three houses down. Upon entering, I noticed a couple being served on the other side of the bar. After waiting for a few moments, the bartender finally noticed me and I greeted her, but unfortunately, she seemed a bit snotty and didn't greet me back. When I ordered a beer, I was disappointed that the bartender did not engage in any conversation with me or offer any recommendations. It took three minutes for her to hand me a menu, but again, there was no explanation of the specials or any other helpful information. Overall, the customer service was subpar and did not meet my expectations. Based on my experience, it appeared that the bar caters to a specific demographic, perhaps those who are regulars or have a closer relationship with the staff. Unfortunately, I did not feel welcomed or included in this environment. While my visit to this bar was not pleasant, I hope this review can serve as a helpful insight for others who may be considering visiting.

Great place for food and beer. Live music every Sunday. I'm told it gets busy during happy hour.

The friendly bar tenders, food and beer alone make this a 5 star brewery. The bar tenders make you feel at home with friendly conversation. Coming from a few states away, this place is still high at the top of my list for fantastic breweries. The decorations on the exterior and interior alone speak volumes to the level of detail dedicated to the history of the area.

Delicious food. Beautiful place inside and out. Great employees. . I loved my vegan burger and fries were very delicious. I hope they get more vegan items.

Came in for a flight. A nice mix of styles, including a few porters rarely does a brewery have more than one at a time these days. Service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and I liked the decor.
