Look for this restaurant on the left-hand side, just before a large Starbucks. We were pleasantly surprised to find this place, as it was easy to locate (which can be a challenge in Shanghai). We were ushered upstairs, although the kitchen is located downstairs. The restaurant has a very elegant atmosphere, with modern interior design and staff dressed in beautiful uniforms that match the Jade Green decor. The manager spoke excellent English and inquired about any dietary restrictions we may have had. He emphasized that some dishes were not vegan, although the menu already clearly indicated the ingredients. The prices were a bit higher than average, but not excessively so. We were offered complimentary pickled radishes, which were delicious. Our order included tofu skin spring rolls, roasted pea shoots, asparagus with lotus blossom, and noodles with tofu in black sesame paste. The dishes were presented beautifully, with the spring rolls having a unique and delicious flavor. Although the portions were a bit small, the focus here is on quality cuisine. Everything else we ordered was delicious, especially the noodles that were expertly mixed for us by our server. As it was during a special romantic day in China, my companion was given a single rose. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very peaceful, and we will definitely be returning in the future.
Take either line 7 or line 13 to Changshou Road, then get off at stop 5 and head south on Changde Road until you reach Anyuan Road. The restaurant will be on your left, just before a large building. Finding this place was a pleasant surprise, as it is not always easy to locate restaurants in Shanghai. The interior is elegant and modern, with beautiful jade green uniforms worn by the staff. The manager spoke excellent English and inquired about any dietary restrictions we may have. Although some dishes were not vegan-friendly, the menu clearly indicated the ingredients. While slightly pricier than other restaurants, it was not unreasonable. We were also served complimentary radishes, which were delicious. Our order included tofu skin spring rolls, fried shoots, asparagus with lotus blossoms, and noodles with tofu in black sesame paste. The presentation was tasteful and the spring rolls had a unique flavor, although they were on the smaller side. The noodles, especially, were flavorful and the server even mixed them for us. To top off our dining experience, my dining companion was presented with a rose, adding to the overall calm and pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. We will definitely be returning in the future.

While it was slightly more expensive than other options, the prices were reasonable. We were treated to a complimentary side of delicious pickled radish. Our order included tofu skin spring rolls, fried pea shoots, asparagus with lotus blossoms, and noodles with tofu in black sesame paste.
