Rio's - Shanklin

This restaurant is not exclusively vegan, but they offer delicious vegan options. The prices are cheap and the staff is very friendly. I ordered a salad, chips, and the Palm Grove burger, which was delicious!

While everywhere in Shanklin seemed to be fully booked, we were delighted to discover Rio's. It is a takeaway with a limited number of tables, offering three options for vegan burgers made by Moving Mountains, which are incredibly meaty. The sweet potato fries and onion rings were beautifully crispy, as was the salad, which was freshly chopped and crunchy. The staff were friendly, and all the food was served in environmentally friendly paper boxes, with no plastic or polystyrene packaging in sight. Overall, a delicious and sustainable dining experience.
