(Sorry bout the scampi and Murphys that was another foleys lol and it was fantastic il find that pub now and give them their dues with a review
Plenty of options on the menu. Love the chicken satay dish. Very filling. I'd say this is a real locals spot. So plenty of critics I'd imagine, hence the great service and very tasty food. Go on, make a visit. Handy for hunger after cycling the local greenaway!
Sunday evening meal for nine people. Would drive back down 3.5 hours to eat there again. Absolutely gorgeous food. Everyone enjoyed every bite. Tea, coffee, beers and desserts were perfection.
Stopped here while on a road trip. Had a short wait for a table, The staff here are super nice and helpful. Little confused why they still offer christmas menu. We orderd the Homemade soup, which was a vegetable soup. It was blended smooth and was very good. Next we order the Loaded Potato Skins, they were loaded with bacon and cheese and came with a side of mayo, not the advertised chili tomato dip. the portion was small with only two. For the meal we shared the Beer battered Cod and Chips. Rather large piece of Cod and good amount (bucket) full of Chips. The fish was flaky and fried very well not greasy at all. Last for dessert we order the Toasted Meringue with Berries. This was different and amazing. Sweet, tart, and mellow meringue paired perfectly together.
