Benedict Street Marketplace - Shawnee

The new owners have made some changes, and I think it's a positive development! They've introduced new menu items, and this place definitely did not disappoint. Benedikt has a strong small-town vibe that I really appreciate. They also have fantastic vegetarian options. Everything tasted fresh and was well-prepared. The only downside is that I wish they would offer more than one soup option at a time.

This restaurant is a fantastic gathering spot for the Shawnee community. Chuck and Paula are incredibly warm and inviting, and the food is simply outstanding! The roast beef sandwiches are a highlight, but there's something for everyone on the menu. My family also tried their packaged meat cuts, which were top-notch and held up well even after being frozen. A tip: be sure to sample their strawberry soup when it's available in the summer—it's absolutely amazing!

Best Pastrami Sandwich I've ever eaten. Not sure that the decorated cookie was legal, it was so good. Really a beautiful place. It's worth the ride. They won't be disappointed. Get a 5 star review!

Very good service and good food. The unsweetened raspberry tea was excellent and the Southwestern Ranch Dressing was the perfect balance of creamy and spicy. To round it off, the owners are the sweetest people you hope to meet!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food and service were excellent. The BlackBerry tea paired perfectly with the chicken salad and hippo stew. They even warmed up my maple pecan cookie, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend dining here for a treat with your friends and family.
