El Pulgarcito - Shawnee

I visited this restaurant for the first time last night, and it was fantastic! I had the pork and cheese pancakes along with a side of black beans, and they were phenomenal. This place will definitely become my new favorite. Even my picky dining companion enjoyed the beef and cheese pupusas. He was thrilled not to have to ask for veggies for once! Lol.

Discovered this little gem while passing through from Colorado. The tacos and pupusas were incredible, and the refried beans and rice were the best I've ever had! The service was excellent, and everyone was extremely friendly!

The food here is consistently excellent, and the service is always friendly. The value is fantastic as well. The horchata is incredibly refreshing on a warm day. You can find delicious pupusas, tacos, and curtido here. The baked plantains are tasty, although they can vary from one visit to another. We’re delighted that they’re back open after their long renovation. Definitely give it a try!

This place is the definition of a whole in the wall with amazing food and good service!

I can't even begin to explain how much I loved my meal today. I had the chicken and green plantains. I will be stopping here every time I visit KC. Thank you!
