The hard rolls are the best. We buy a dozen at a time and freeze what we don't need that day. Somehow, they taste just as good if you thaw them for an hour. Highly recommended.

I visited City Bakery on a whim for some sweet baked treats, and I was thoroughly pleased! It's a cozy little bakery with a unique charm both inside and out. Despite its small size, the bakery is clean and inviting. The service was excellent; the staff was patient as I took my time deciding what to order, which I really appreciated. I tried an assortment of cookies and sweet breads, and they were not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. My only concern is that some of their products could be made without lard, but that's a minor issue. Overall, City Bakery is a lovely spot! The specialty breads at this restaurant are consistently excellent. While the desserts are the main draw, their selection of ethnic specialty breads also deserves recognition. The variety available and the quality of each type I've tried clearly demonstrate that someone there is passionate about their craft.

I've been coming here since I was a kid over 20 years ago. The bakery has always been fantastic, offering an incredible variety of options. The bread is light and fluffy. Delicious!
