The Wheatsheaf - Shedfield

I always receive a friendly greeting at this restaurant, but that could be because I've known the owner for many years. The food is large, freshly cooked, and delicious, and they have a well-maintained selection of real ales. The atmosphere is lovely, and they even allow dogs in the pub.

The restaurant offers excellent beer at an affordable price, along with delicious pub food.

We had never been to this pub before, despite driving past it numerous times. Its unassuming exterior on a busy road may have been the reason. However, the pub surprised us with its charm and convenient car park opposite. The staff were friendly and the food was hearty. I enjoyed salt and pepper squid followed by a steak and ale casserole. We will definitely return. The average price per person was £20-30.

This pub is fantastic! We have been loyal customers for years, and Sally and Tim are wonderful hosts. Sally's cooking is top-notch, and Bex and Emma always keep us entertained. I highly recommend this spot for a great meal. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. Don't miss out on trying the chips and cheesy chips!
