Great Thursday night out. Much improved with new landlords

All round amazing pub! Definitely would recommend a visit.

Food warmed up told loads of dinners an wasnt cauliflower cheese, no cheese on it sprinkle of whatever pigs in blanket, no bacon beef fatty gravy warmed up

Had a funeral in the upstairs room. Not ready when we arrived. The room was littered with stuff just left lying about. Funeral flowers were dumped on the floor on the stage. Not enough chairs. 1 member of staff said “we aren’t ready yet” and the whole funeral party had to filter back downstairs. The nice girl behind the bar worked on her own and was lovely. I do think the staff need to have appropriate clothing for a funeral, cycling shorts were just a bit informal! The buffet food was nice and average.

Very poor. The quality was below average at best I had a steak sandwich with chips, it came as two slices of toast with little bits of steak on, a couple of 50grams at most, seven chips (yep seven frozen chips, small, not thick cut) £9.00 . Don't go here if your hungry, like good food, and can eat more than a two year old child. A once brilliant pub thats completly lost it's way. Never again, never.
