Upon entering, you are greeted by traditional ladies making freshly baked baladi bread. As you take in the sights, you will be captivated by the breathtaking panoramic view overlooking the entire city of Cairo. The delicious food tastes like it was prepared by an Egyptian mother, and the generous portions come at affordable prices. The friendly and welcoming staff are the cherry on top of this experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and enchanting Egyptian dining experience.
I can't believe I had to pay 850 EGP for such small portions at this restaurant. The chicken was bland, the liver was disappointing, and having dogs roaming around while eating was not pleasant. The overall experience felt overpriced and overrated. However, I must say that the stunning view and the delicious combination of freshly baked bread with tahini were exceptional.
The management at this restaurant comes across as arrogant and lacking in hospitality, which is disappointing. I was taken aback when they took my water bottle upon entering, as I have never experienced this before. It felt disrespectful to remove water from customers at the door, rather than focusing on drinks or food. The food quality has been declining, with unhealthy breakfast options and dishes overloaded with butter. The feteer was below average, greasy and lacking in flavor. Overall, I believe the management's attitude is becoming increasingly arrogant, which is turning what could be a beautiful venue into a disappointing and lackluster experience.
We decided to go on 5 PM on Friday, unexpected crowded people in entrance of restaurant With waiting list for about one hour. Large group more easy to go there than two persons. Atmosphere is great at that time . Minimum charge 400 EP for person.
This is quite a drive out from downtown Cairo but it is well worth it! The food was well prepared and well cooked. The menu is limited but in a way that helps control the quality of food that you then eat. The setting was amazing and at night quite magical, with a cooling breeze that enabled you to enjoy your meal. The waiters varied in helpfulness and therefore I wouldn’t give it five stars for service. The man who bought the food and coffee was delightful however, the guy who took our order and checked payment might consider smiling once in awhile.
