I had a pleasant lunch at this restaurant during a busy holiday weekend. While the service was a bit slow, we were seated promptly and quickly served cold beer, which was refilled as needed, making the wait enjoyable as we sat outside watching the boats and birds. The oysters were surprisingly fresh and delicious, the salads were crisp and generous, and the sandwiches were well-prepared, as were the chicken tenders and fries. The blackened tuna was excellent, though slightly overcooked, and it came with grilled vegetables. Dining by the water was enjoyable, and the food didn't let me down. I’ll definitely return.
I have experienced awful service every time I've visited this restaurant. I won’t be returning. It's much better to dine at Dock-N-Eat, where I know I will be treated like a valued customer.
I have to agree with Misty J....this place is tough to rate. The food was decent, but nothing special. The service staff was friendly and attentive, but the kitchen was incredibly slow. We visited on a Friday at 2 PM, after the main lunch crowd had left, and there were only four tables with small groups. I don’t understand why it took so long to receive our food! There are other dining options by the lake that offer better food and service, such as Pizza Hut, Big M, and Baxter boat docks, as well as several places around Indian Point, to name a few. Enjoy your boating and dining experience!
This is a fantastic spot whether you arrive by boat or car. The food is excellent, and while the service can be a bit slow at times, I usually come here to unwind, so it doesn’t bother me much.
