Golden Dragon - Shepway

The food at this restaurant is excellent and exactly as described on the menu. The quality is very good and the portions are generous. £30 worth of food lasts us for about 5 meals - any leftovers can be frozen and still taste excellent once defrosted and cooked thoroughly.

I placed an order for pick-up at the restaurant, but when I arrived, I found that it was closed and up for lease. Thinking my time had been wasted, I went to a take-away across the road to get my evening meal. Once I got home, I received a phone call saying that my food was ready for pick-up. I explained to the lady that I had tried to pick up my order but the shop was closed. She informed me that they had actually moved to a location about 4 miles away around 3 months ago. This information was not helpful to me, as I would not have ordered from there if I had known. The restaurant apologized and offered to deliver my order for free, but it was too late as I already had my food from the other place.

This place is the best Chinese I've ordered from. I love their special chow mien the amount of meat and portion size is great. It's also seasoned well fragrant. Definitely my new local.

Its a nice place to go with a group. Its a set price and you can order as much as you like. We have been a few times and found the food always to be good . A good choice and nicely prepared.
