Aki Sushi - Sherbrooke

It's a small, comfy place. They have a great service , very kind. Best place for sushi.The Volcano Roll is amazing!

Three of us had lunch here recently. The roll menu is huge. We ordered four different ones and found them all quite good but the fantastic roll was probably the best. The atmosphere was pleasant enough, and the service was quite attentive. Overall, we were surprised that this scored higher than we expected.

Pour des sushi d'épicerie, c'est très bien. Les poke bowl sont bien également.

I hate to do this because the first 2 times I had their food, I was really happy with it. Both times I got their teriyaki chicken it was pretty great it came with lots of veggies, rice, soup a salad. Delicious. This time, I ordered through DoorDash because I had a great coupon with the app so I chose to use it with Aki. I ordered the egg rolls the chicken yakisoba dish. Let me just say that the egg rolls were $8.95 for 4 on the app. For egg rolls that were nothing more than Panda Express quality. I was so disappointed. It was the first time I had their egg rolls, but if this is what they normally serve, I recommend getting a higher quality product. They were freezer section nonsense. I could have bought a whole bag of those at the store for $5. The yakisoba was extremely dry flavorless. The only veggie they put in with the noodles chicken was onion. Thankfully, I love onion. The chicken was cooked well mostly tender... that's about the best thing I can say about it. The total bill should have been $30 for this, but I had a discount through DoorDash. I'm honestly upset that I even paid what I paid for it. If I went to Panda I would have paid around $12 it would have been roughly the same quality. I understand this is a sushi spot, but I've had their teriyaki chicken was impressed. Please, if you're going to charge these inflation prices for your food, make sure that what you're serving is something someone will want to come back for. It's unfortunate that I'm bummed that I essentially wasted my DoorDash coupon on Aki. I was hoping for a lovely meal I'd want to go back for.

Great sushi in englewood. New favorite spot. Good sake selection. I came here for lunch on a Friday, service was friendly and attentive. The chefs made me their specials and it was delicious. The sushi bar was comfortable and clean. I will be returning.
