Feedback gevenProbably the worst baton rouge I have ever been atI asked for a well done steak (preggo)And hubby ordered medium rareFor him they legit gave him a raw piece of meat that was hardly cooked outside but he didn't want to complain and ate it but it was so raw that the fat parts (I would say the best parts to make your steak delicious) were super chewy so he had to cut them off and bite on his raw piece of meat lolMy steak was very well cooked yet was significantly small and at the end when were going to pay saw the price for the 2 pieces were the same while mine was at least 1/3 of my husband's pieceAnywayNot gonna go back there
The food was good but the service was very very slow, no follow up, no one appeared to glance in our direction, much less to ask how everything was...good thing that the missus liked her meal...it might mean we go back again.
We arrived at 7pm as per our reservation and did not receive our meal until 8:17pm. We asked the server at about 745pm if our food was soon to arrive and she said the kitchen was really slow and there was nothing she could do. The meal arrived luke warm and only one person in our party finished their meal. The tuna salad had no flavor and the calamari was cold and chewy and again not a lot of flavor. We told our server that we did not like our meals and she asked if we wanted to take them with us. She seemed to not care.
Booking 50 of us was easy. We pre-ordered many bottles of wine at-the tables for all of the guests. As I made my way to the kitchen (watching)I and noticed what dishes I wanted to try. Throughout all of us ordering food, I decided to have the Baton Rouge ribs and fried chicken with a Caesar salad and Aji tuna .Being the last table served as they orchestrated food to each table, the 1st,of our dishes arrived unfortunately cold. My fried chicken fingers, fries unfortunately had to be reheated and the ribs came without flavour or warmth, except for the dollops of barbeque sauce on top!The tuna tartare is something to be completely avoided as an absolutely has no flavour profiles.The staff were great and deserved the 20% tip.Hopefully, I’ll give this place a second try in the near future.
Bilingual service, quick and kind! At first I was caught off guard by the prices of the entrées vs. the prices of the main meals but once we received them, WOW. The prices were accurate for the portions! You will not leave this place hungry?. Highly recommend the Richards Onion Soup as an entrée.
