Masala Cafe - Sherbrooke

The food here was very good. They have a few vegan options here to choose from. The service was extremely slow on the day we went but there was only 1 cook working.

We found it hard to settle on a restaurant in this area that met all our preferences. We ended up here having first gone up the street to buy a bottle of beer from a local brewpub. We loved sitting outdoors on the patio and the Québécois couple next to us were friendly and chatty. We pappadums were great. The curries themselves were ok but the spice flavours were a little bit harsh and unsubtle to my tastebuds. They could have been more rounded and more delicately balanced. But then, l grew up eating curry, cook curries myself, and we have a wide variety of E Indian restaurants to choose from in our own city. It was pleasant and enjoyable experience overall. The kitchen was quite busy!

I've only been here once but I would love to go again. It is in a great location if you are going to the movie theatre or Granada for a show. I love that you can start the meal with papadums, very traditional. I took my parents here and everyone was happy with their meal. I don't eat meat, and I did not leave the restaurant still hungry!

I have been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. It is BYOB, and that is couple with some absolutely delightful Indian food! I seriously would recommend going here! Fantastic food and service in a lovely location! Full marks!

Modest venue but the food is simply amazing. Bring your wine concept, it is a nice little place to discover the indian cuisine in Sherbrooke. Will go again.
