My wife and I shared the mixed okonomiyaki for 750 yen and two servings of yakisoba with meat for 700 yen. I consider myself a decently big eater, so we ordered the okonomiyaki separately. The owner asked me, "Our okonomiyaki is quite big, are you sure?" I decided to go with it, and the portion was huge with plenty of ingredients. We also ordered yakisoba, so we were satisfied. They also sold snacks in a corner. The restaurant has been in business since 1970, and they even gave us a 50 yen discount at the end. I give it a 5 with the hope that the restaurant continues to do well. I definitely want to come back again.

While there are several flour-based shops in the area, this one is definitely among the tastiest from Kainan to Muroto-Aki. The recommended dish is the mix okonomiyaki - not only is it inexpensive, but the portion size and ingredients are amazing! For those who still find it lacking, try the mix modern version. With a good number of young firefighters recommending the place, alongside the abundant seafood from Muroto, there's no way it could be anything but delicious! Currently, due to the influence of COVID-19, they are only offering takeout. Be sure to try it out while enjoying the Pacific breeze and strong sunshine by the coast! If you go during off-peak hours, you should find it quite empty and not have to wait long for your order. Muroto's flour-based cuisine is truly something to behold!
