Minami Indo Dining Nakano - 渋谷

Coming from Malaysia, I can’t tell you how much I miss our Southern Indian Food in our Mamak Stalls. This restaurant has the Southern Indian Vibe and taste that we like and miss so much! It was really good and overall the price for the amount of food we are paying was worth it!

Had their Chennai Meals set. The vegetable curries were great and I love the paratha! Fairly busy lunch time crowd but great food :

The food itself was really good. We got the set meals A and B and both enjoyed it a lot. What took away from a full 5 stars is the obviously higher price than most other food in tokyo (although it is somewhat to be expected from Indian food) and one of the workers, who was also the guy serving us, came off a little rude at the start although he ended up being quite nice by the end. He also coughed in a very unappetizing way around 5 times before and while we were eating which could have been avoided. Overall definitely recommended though!

This may be the worst service I have experienced in a long, long while. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the owner’s attitude was horrible He blatantly showed that he was disinterested in serving us and that he would rather sleep (photo attached). At one point, we had to shout to wake him up and order our dishes. This may explain why the restaurant was empty during prime weekday lunch time. I think the dishes we ordered were generally good, but completely overshadowed by the terrible service. We will never visit this place again. There are just so many other great Indian restaurants in Tokyo. Just not this one!

We just finished a take away from Minami Indo Dining Nakano, was super good, great taste and lots of flavor, great selection of dishes, and all my favorites. Great selection for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Sorry no photos this time, just started eating it and totally forgot about taking a photo.
