Ginger - Shillong

Hotel rooms are good, well maintained, clean. The view from the hotel room is quite natural, the environment is peaceful you can stay there free from Noice and with tranquility of the spirit. Room a/c TV is all right. Elivator are nice. The only disappointment is the hotel dinner. It's not delicious at all. No taste. We couldn't enjoy the food

Great place to eat delicious food, beautiful from the inside. Later service but delicious food.

Service with smile. Food was good. Chicken tikka was amazing. So we're other items. Good sumptuous quantity, nice bar, a very nice place to visit in Shillong.

I visited Ginger on Easter as my expectations were really high from this place. Had ordered prawn noodles and chilly fish gravy. Listing my review below. Food: It was served hot. It did taste good till I discovered plenty of oil on the plate. Meaning the meal was very very oily. Total was Rs. 1083 for two items. It was very disappointing. Decor Ambience : Pretty nice, I say. Staff : They were polite and greeted us, as well. Parking was provided by the hotel. Please cook food in limited oil and serve fresh. I gave two stars for Staff and ambience of Ginger. Not recommended. Needs improvement.

We ordered veg sizzler along with mushroom cream base soup. Cream soup is not tasty. We never tried such a worst sizzler. Vegetables are less cooked, no taste, poor service, (service person not even checking availability of spoon, fork, etc., . Somehow we served ourself the entire sizzler. Simply luxurious and nice time to talk. If u want to spend some time in Polo just come and sit here with a simple order. .That's it..
