The Tanglewood Inn - Shingleton

The Bear Den is great especially if you own stock in Pepto Bismol, Immodium, and Baby Wipes. Baby wipes are the most important because you will definitely need them after you eat there. Let me just say, this restaurant is built on squeeze cheese. It was served on every second item.

The Tanglewood was a great place to stop for lunch. The whitefish plate and the whitefish sandwich were both excellent. Apparently it has new owners who also own The Bear Trap Inn, and will rename the Tanglewood to the Bear's Den, possibly opening late October 2022. I look forward to try it out. The perfect little hole in the wall must stop if passing near Muinsing pictured rocks. I had read reviews on here some positive and some negative so wasn’t sure what to expect but it didn’t disappoint. The server had to end up being the cook due to them being short staffed but she was so sweet and the service was fantastic. I had the fried shrimp and my fiancé had the white fish. They were both really good. Definitely would recommend stopping here.

This is a down home place that I really liked. We went there for breakfast a few times and it was great. Big portions and yummy. Loved It.
