Pioneer Hillside Pizza - Shingletown

Ordered 7 pizzas for a family reunion and boy o boy was shocked by the quality! This is very very good pizza my friends! Honestly, for a small mountain town to have this level of pizza is a blessing. Thin base crust but fluffy outer crust, tasty sauce, generous toppings! Holy smokes! I wish I had this quality of pizza in North Carolina! They’re cash only but have an ATM. 10/10 will be thinking about this pizza years to come!

Went in and ordered a pizza. After 45 minutes asked if our ordered had been forgotten, was informed by the toothless Shinglebilly at the counter that it was coming out of the oven right now, 20 minutes later, still no pizza so I ask her again. I am told again it's coming out of the oven. They are now locking the doors for closing and still no pizza. It was about then they realized they never made it. So we waited another 15 minutes for a pizza that was undercooked, cheese not fully melted, doughy crust and free cheese sticks we didn't want to make up for their screw up. Never an apology or acknowledgement for messing up. Toothless meth heads shouldn't be working the front counter. When in Shingletown, BEWARE OF THE SHINGLEBILLIES.

Went to an early dinner with my Mom, and a dear friend of hers. Lived in Shingletown for years, my Mom had only been once. After my father dying a few weeks ago we decided to go. Great food. Great service. Jenny at bar was amazing...downside...one of the regulars made a homophobic comment to me...same Shingletown...good food, great atmosphere, same people...

If you enjoy patronizing an establishment owned by Eeyore, stop in for an under whelming menu and smell the locals.

Great pizza place! Can get very busy, especially during summer.
