Your Bagel Cafe Southport Shopping Center

I called ahead to place my order, but when my husband arrived, they had no record of it. I had to text him everything I had ordered. In response to the new owners: I want to thank whoever took the time to respond to my review. I’ve been a loyal customer of your bagel shop in Shirley for over 24 years and have never had an issue before. My order included 12 mixed bagels, and the young lady I spoke with mentioned that I'd get 5 additional ones at no extra charge, along with 2 containers of cream cheese. However, she didn’t offer me a choice of payment over the phone; she just told me to allow 15 to 20 minutes. If she had mentioned it, I would have gladly paid right then. I totally understand that mistakes happen—we're all human. Your bagel café truly is one of the best around. I still remember when the original owner, Strathmore, was in charge.

This was without a doubt the worst BLT I've ever eaten! Where's the bacon? Where's the tomato? At over $10, this is simply unacceptable. I wasn't intending to leave a review, but after hearing others express the same disappointment, I feel it's necessary to warn others about this unfortunate sandwich.

I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and a medium coffee, and it cost me nearly $8. I wasn't expecting that price, and the bagel was just mediocre. There are definitely better options elsewhere.

I recently ordered the same sandwich I get every Saturday, and unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue. The bread was incredibly mushy, to the point where I couldn't even pull the roll apart, and the eggs were a mess. When I asked them to rectify the situation, they refused and insisted that I had to come to the store myself, stating they wouldn’t redeliver. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I won’t be ordering from them again.

The breakfast sandwiches are absolutely delicious, and there’s a wide variety of bagel flavors available in the display case. The bacon is perfectly crispy, and the service is great; the food is served promptly. Coffee is self-serve, with plenty of flavored creamers to choose from. There are a few tables at the front if you prefer to dine in. I would definitely recommend this place!
