Their food tastes lovely; I'd recommend their nachos, deserts and curries. They don't have much cider which isn't good news for cider drinkers, like me! The drink prices are a little much. For example a small coke is £2.50 and the pints are £3.00-£4.50. However the food is definitely worth the money. Every week the Colebrook holds a quiz night, which is entertaining and I usually learn a thing or two. On this night though is Curry night so the pub is ALWAYS busy so if you don't get there early enough you risk sitting in the beer garden and not joining in or standing in a busy and hot environment. On any other night the pub is spacious. I was satisfied with the customer service as the staff are quick to serve and kind. It would be nice if they put on a carvery though to make Sundays feel a little complete. No matter what the cons are at the Colebrook there are always more pros so I would definitely recommend it, even as a family friendly pub.
Great pub. They have a good selection of beers, wines and even some cocktails. The staff are always helpful and the food good and served up within a reasonable time. The only problem is the toilets sometimes flooding
This was always my favorite pub when I was in Shirley, hope its open for many many years.
Good friendly pub, decent quality food and friendly bar staff. Decent range of beers and wines with the odd gest ale and even cocktails! Decent space for parking. Can eb very busy tho but staff seem to work hard to serve everyone quickly.
Very nice pub, great quality food and wonderful warm and friendly bar staff. I had to complain once because the meal came out cold and I was given vouchers to come back again and given a refund, this was with the old management. They have Thursday quiz nights
