All of the food was good, especially the bison huevos rancheros which was outstanding. It's only a 10 minute walk from the Ballston-MU metro station. We would definitely eat here again.
Ordered take out. Fries soggy, salad in the same container as the fries and the entre, was completely soaked. Overall, an extremely poor mgmt of the kitchen staff who prepare and place the order. It all looked like it had simply been thrown into the container. Terrible.
Great place to study/work and quick social meetup. Great customer service, friendly staff and nice ambiance.
Very nice and friendly people. However, one workers have to be more professional. He came from out side and directly scoped the ice cream to me without washing his hands or wearing gloves.
This is supposedly a farm-to-table diner using locally sourced vendors. I expected an upscale version of the diners I was used to growing up in New Jersey. Apparently nobody around the rest of the USA knows what a real diner is unless you grew up in NJ or NY. The menu was limited and had items I could get in any sandwich shop or local eatery. The food was OK but nothing to brag about except the exhorbitant prices for humdrum items; Yikes! The service was good and at least they had a parking lot (pretty beat up) so we did not have to pay at the meters. There was a steady flow of customers for this weeknight but they came and went so I have to consider this a local haunt for the unexcited. We had passed Tupelo Honey which had been our first choice prior to noticing some of the great reviews this diner had gotten. Shouldn't have been swayed;wrong choice probably. Oh well, always go with your first impression as we drove up and couldn't see inside the tinted windows. Tinted windows in Florida is a god idea, not so much in a diner in Virginia.
