Guajillo - Shirlington

Mixed drinks were the best part of the entire visit. We saw this place multiple times as we frequented another restaurant in the same plaza and decided to stop by. The waiter brought chips and salsa to the table. Someone else posted about the hard and tasteless the chips were and I agree. The sauce which I think was supposed to be Tatemada, but it was watery and bland. Aside from drinks we ordered the fajitas and enchiladas de la casa. The chicken was cut wide and was dry while the enchiladas were soaked through with sauce that they fell apart as soon as I touched them with the fork. The place itself is welcoming and if the weather is nice outdoor seating is recommended. I liked the indoors as it gave off a good vibe and the bar was well situated. We'll go back for drinks after eating elsewhere before.

We just randomly found Guajillo and this restaurant turned out to be a winner. It was really busy so we sat outside. The food and service were good. It was our waiter’s first day but he managed our table of five well.

Great food. The enchiladas with gray. The refried beans were awesome. I also get those with extra cheese on them.

Our waiter was so nice and attentive! The food was great especially the portion sizes like look at that burrito size. Not pictured: huge margarita pitcher to share with friends or by yourself if it’s that kind of day
