Lyon Hall - Shirlington

Very attentive wait service with refilling water, learning plates, etc. However, our waiter hardly came to check on us much to see how everything was or if we needed anything else. Amazing food! Love the ambience, but it is a loud environment when super busy.

Good food as always. Service was mediocre. Several of us complained about the glare from the sunlight and all we got were shoulder shrugs. The outdoor awnings could've been extended to block the light. Figure something out.

We love Lyon Hall and have eaten there many times since it opened. We had a good experience last night too, except that we were seated next to a party of 14 upstairs. We could barely hear ourselves speak, the big party overwhelmed the other diners nearby. They were very noisy. That said, food was excellent, as was the service.

Lyon Hall is a neighborhood favorite of mine for since it opened. Our meal last night was perfect the duck special was beautifully prepared and presented. One of my friends had the schnitzel (as alwasy! and enjoyed it and the others both had chicken which they enjoyed. The wine list is pretty extensive. I had the Cabernet and highly recommend it. I'm grateful that we have a great restaurant in the neighborhood where the food and service are always top notch.

This was our first visit to Lyon Hall- such a great restaurant! We were a group of 8 so got to try many different items on the menu and all were delicious. Standouts were the escargot, fried Brussels sprouts, short rib, house burger and the branzino. All were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. Service was perfect as well- very friendly and attentive but in no way over bearing. Atmosphere was nice too- it has a cute bistro feel with a good energy level. If you like French food, this restaurant is one to try!
