Great service, good food and cold beer! They even changed the channel for us to watch some Texans football while they watched the Saints. It was a great experience!
The owner was kind enough to let a group of us park our vehicles here for a 50-mile ride yesterday. So of course we had to have post-ride brews and food. I had a couple Shock-Top's and had the burger with a baked potato. So first, the service was... mediocre. Apparently it was the bartender's first day working the bar alone, but she was struggling a bit. She got us our beers quick enough, but it took 3 or 4 requests to get waters. And we all desperately needed waters. Our food order went well enough tho. We started with a round of boudin balls, which had great flavor and a good kick. I ordered my burger med-rare, but it was cooked a little longer than that. And my baked potato was, well, a good baked potato. It took a little longer than I'd think it should to get our checks (or at least mine). So that was a little annoying. And the TV was way too loud. I wish I could give it 3.5 stars, but I lean to 3 more than 4. Pretty good but nothing crazy special.
It's locally owned with a very friendly atmosphere ! The boiled seafood is amazing !!!
