El Jimador Supremo - Shreveport

My husband discovered this charming little restaurant on Trip Advisor. The food was delicious, the prices very affordable, and the place was extremely clean. The waitstaff provided outstanding service! The decor has a vintage feel, complemented by eclectic lighting and recessed ceiling lights.

The atmosphere was great and very inviting. The warm, crispy chips and salsa were delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. My daughter had the grilled chicken ranchero, and it was excellent. My husband enjoyed the chimichanga, while I liked my crispy taco. The enchiladas were just okay; I'm still searching for the perfect enchilada!

The food was just okay. I would have been better off going to Taco Bell. The enchilada tasted like it was straight out of a can that I could find at the grocery store. To be fair, I've been to other states where the Tex-Mex food really sets a high standard.

We just stopped drinking somewhere else before dinner, and we also got free chips and salsa. Mark, our bartender for the evening was so friendly and attentive, made us very welcome! We had a strawberry Margarita and Miller Lite, both served ice cold and so delicious! Would definitely like to try for food in the future!

I absolutely loved the food; it was incredible! The servers were great as well. My mother and brother enjoyed their meals too. The chips and salsa were delicious. Overall, this place is fantastic!
