China Palace - Shropshire

My partner first introduced me to China Palace fourteen years ago, shortly after we met. Everything was perfect - the food, presentation, and service. Fast forward to last month, we decided to revisit the restaurant after more than ten years. We were pleased to find that everything was still top-notch. We were seated at a reserved table and opted for a banquet to try a variety of dishes. The finger bowls and cutlery were brought out promptly, followed by the delicious crispy duck and pancake starter. The portions were generous and the flavors were incredible. The dishes were cleared efficiently, and we had a short break before the main course arrived. The selection of three dishes was accompanied by ample rice, and the aromas were beautiful, especially the sizzling beef in black pepper sauce. The service was just as excellent as before - our waiter was friendly, fast, and efficient. I never felt like any request was too much trouble for her. We had another enjoyable evening at China Palace (which I believe has since been renamed) and won't wait as long next time to enjoy their Cantonese cuisine.

I visited this restaurant during the holidays with my partner and daughter, and I absolutely loved it. The staff was great, they never rushed us, and the food was fantastic and delicious. The Chowmein noodles were excellent with a thick texture. I have to say this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. Well done to all the workers there for making us feel so welcome, and a special shoutout to the chefs for their great work. Keep it up!

My family and I had a pleasant dining experience at this Cantonese restaurant. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, each beautifully presented and flavorful. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and provided prompt service. All the food was fresh, beautifully plated, and served hot. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would love to return again.

We had a birthday meal here. 14 of us had a banquet. The majority of the food was lovely!! The ribs were dry. Service was good apart from one waitress who snatched some chopsticks off my autistic brother when he asked if he could keep...them. She sajd no they are £1. This was awful behaviour and considering our bill was £375 the £1 for chopsticks was hardly relevant. My one other moan is that the high chair provided was disgusting unsafe filthy and the tray would not stay attached.
