Since it was cash-only, we decided to reserve judgement and went to an ATM. We ordered chicken chow mein and beef Szechuan with chips, curry sauce, and prawn crackers. These dishes are what we typically order at a Chinese restaurant. However, we were highly disappointed with the food. It was bland and poorly cooked - the beef was tough, and there were raw onions in both dishes, which were mostly filled with carrots as bulk. Unfortunately, both of us ended up with upset stomachs from eating very little. Overall, we found this restaurant to be a waste of money and would not recommend it to others. Avoid this place in my opinion.
I just received my delivery and was very disappointed today. The food has been good the last few times we ordered from here, but today the chicken chow mein tasted strange with more onions and carrots than noodles and chicken. The chips had a strange taste, and when we ordered prawn crackers, we received chips that tasted like BBQ sauce instead. We had to throw away £30 worth of food, and we have been eating from here since we moved here in October. I am very disappointed, and maybe it's time to find a new place to order from.
I'm not sure when the restaurant changed ownership, but it must have been sometime this year. The food is served piping hot, with generously-sized portions and incredibly delicious flavors. As someone who is particular about Chinese food, I have to admit that I was thoroughly impressed after trying a variety of dishes such as vegetables in black bean sauce, foo yung, curry, chow mein, chips, fried rice, and more. The food is spicy, well-seasoned without being overly salty, flavorful, and offers great value for money (a main course easily serves two people with a side dish). Additionally, they now offer delivery service.
I thought after previous owners left this place couldn't get any worse boy was I wrong we had a beef curry and chips and a spring role well they said it was beef but I can't think what part of a cow it came from the chips must have been left over from Saturday and the spring role was a greasy mess with noodles would rather walk to bewdley and back in the future
Had the meal for 2. Lots of food but none of it tasted good. The ribs were overcooked and dry. The chicken balls were like rock, tasted like they had been cooked and refried. Beef in black bean was unpleasant. Noodles tasted strange. Pork and beansprouts had a red sauce on top but a very watery sauce underneath. Supposed to be under new management with a new chef. Won't be returning.
