St Pierre Seafood - Shropshire

I recently dined at Bouillabaisse and I must say it was the best I've ever had! The dish was perfectly balanced and allowed the flavors of the fish to shine through. I was pleasantly surprised to find John Dory in the stew, as it is the seafood bar's namesake. The meal was complemented by a delicious Pouilly-Fumé 2013. My partner enjoyed the Tiger Prawns cooked in Garlic and Chilli as well. This small 12-seater market stall truly is a hidden gem that transports you to the Mediterranean. If you love seafood, this is the place for you. However, if you're not a fan of seafood, I suggest steering clear as that is their specialty. Overall, a highly recommended dining experience that I would love to revisit regularly if I lived closer.

We brought some local relatives to Saint Pierre, a restaurant they had never heard of before. The food and wine were top-notch, comparable to well-known restaurants. The service was excellent, and we're already thinking about coming back for another visit. This is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves seafood.

I'll try my best to share this hidden gem with you. The St Pierre seafood bar in Shrewsbury's market hall is absolutely delightful. With only two tables and a breakfast bar, it's small and simple - more like a continental stall than a big restaurant. On my last visit, I enjoyed Cullen skink and a glass of Chardonnay. On a previous visit, I took a chance and ordered scallops from the impressive selection of seafood at the classy stall, and they were cooked to perfection. The seafood bar only serves lunch, but I'll be sure to check out Pukka Wines seafood bar for dinner next time.

My daughter and I had a fantastic lunch at the seafood bar last week. Both of us had the Cornish Crab platter which was out of this world. We also enjoyed a nice chilled glass of Chablis. Atmosphere was brilliant, great service too. Will be returning with friends soon.
