Tandoori Cottage - Shropshire

We have not had a takeaway Indian for over a year as we have struggled to find a nice one in Shrewsbury. We were recommended Tandoori cottage and were not disappointed, the chicken was lovely and tender, nan bread was fantastic and all the food was piping hot, we will definitely be eating here again

Sometimes very baffled by the poor comments and bad language. Used this place for over 20 odd years finding the staff very friendly and the boss very hard working. In my opinion, the food is always very good having just about trying everything on the menu. Sometimes you may have to wait a little longer for your food due to amount of orders but well worth the wait. Big lover of Chicken Pathia, or Dansak.

If you love a curry like we do then this place is the best ive come across in shrewsbury and belive me ive tried every curry place in shrewsbury and this is far the nicest.

Excellent food been going here over 20 years. Always the same standard. Never a disappointment. Well priced. Open kitchen to which gives you confidence

We went for dinner on Sunday. the grumpy waiter who took the food order looked quite annoyed I pointed this out ... we asked staff a question about a main course and he had no idea. struggled with English. Also he took drinks order and disappeared for 15 mins. food arrived and was cold. very disappointing. No one came to ask if we wanted more drinks or if the meal was ok... very slow service and not pleasant at all.....won’t be going again
