The Bear At Hodnet - Shropshire

With friends we ate here last night. when referring to the pub grub, although its measurable can say that the standard of food can vary, the one constant tends to be the number of tables scratched into a small space. not here the bear has been able to offer a very high standard of the restaurant. it is a bright and spacious restaurant and yes, it has a smaller menu than most, but the chef has every dish on a beautiful art. I appreciate this place very much. it is worth going out of a way to eat here. I'll be back.

An excellent hotel, with beautifully finished high-quality fittings, fittings and furniture. the curtains gave my wife curtain jealous, and the bathroom are an art work. eating is excellent, both dinner and breakfast were absolutely excellent. it was possibly the best hotel we were in U.K. and one of the top 5 ever and they can see from our reviews that we have stopped in a few rounds of the world. that was great. an absolute joy.

Our son gifted his father a Bear Inn gift card for his 70th birthday, which turned out to be a delightful and enjoyable present for both of us. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and were pleased with the selection and recommendations for non-alcoholic drinks. My husband even found a zero beer that he enjoyed. The menu was simple yet enticing, and we both opted for the cured trout, pork, and custard tart. Each dish was delightful and beautifully presented. The quality was excellent and we felt it was great value for what we received. The service was friendly and attentive. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a great restaurant close to home, and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

We spent a night at this restaurant and had an absolutely wonderful time. The food and accommodations were both of exceptional quality, and I highly recommend staying here for a night away. The breakfast was the cherry on top and went above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely return in the future.

This is one of our favorite hotels in the UK. We travel frequently and it is hard to find a hotel with such exceptional service, beautiful decor, and delicious food. We will definitely be returning. In August, we stayed here with our family - a group of 10 adults and 2 children, and we were all very well taken care of. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their experience at The Bear.
