The Keys - Shropshire

We walked up from the canal to visit this restaurant that we had tried twice before, 10 years ago, when it was under the same owners and had left us impressed. Unfortunately, this time we were not greeted with the same enthusiasm. The welcome was uninterested and we decided to only stop for a drink before ultimately choosing not to eat and leaving. Overall, it was not worth the effort of finding this place from the canal.

I called on a whim, hoping for a table. I was greeted by a friendly young lady at the bar and seated by a window. We ordered drinks and food, which arrived promptly and piping hot. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the decor was lovely. We were able to relax and enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Thank you to everyone at The Keys for making my visit so enjoyable.

Had a great time at The Keys, there must have been 40 of us for lunch, we had pre ordered our meals but what amazing service, all meals were lovely, served beautifully, and there was a large variety of meals, all were piping hot, could not fault a thing, well done.

I visited this charming restaurant for the first time and the service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was incredible. The background Christmas music added to the peaceful and relaxed ambiance of the place. I will definitely be coming back again.

We often eat out and are disappointed at many so-called upmarket pubs. The Keys provided excellent food, large portions at extremely reasonable prices. My wife commented that the roast dinner was the best she had at any price. We will be returning
