The Talbot - Shropshire

Food was nice, very reasonable prices, host nick and katie are very friendly and amiable and when they found that it was my birthday, they bought over a bottle of wine with friendly permission from. the talbot, an amazing note and a fabulous end to a fabulous birthday.

Excellent Sunday dinner today and last week in the talbot hotel, very kind greeting and brillance, we will return.

Only asked for drinks, but surely plan to eat again. proper pub with good, cheap ale and a great greeting for all especially dog lucy

I personally cannot understand the high ratings. the owner was very friendly, but the talbot is attached to a very loud pub on the back, and sits on the high street, which means a loud street with people and cars late in the night. the rooms. were clean, but melt smoke from the locals down in the talbot pub.

Great hotel comfortable friendly and clean excellent value free breakfasts we will be back best price too
