Feedback gevenThe restaurant is right in front of Sibu waterfront. Also right next to the back row of one of the Li Hua Hotel branch. The sea cucumber with eggs is a must try. The Ambarella or kedondong juice is refreshing. Do have a try. Restaurant owners and staff are very friendly. A very warm atmosphere suitable for gatherings.
A recurrent customer for their noodle/kampua. So springy and you will know that it is hand made once you taste the noodle.
I've come prepared (Be a pauper but order ostentatiously) after hearing tales of this place; literal sense of one of Kurt Vonnegut's titles. I had the Hokkien Mee (RM7) with a Roasted Duck drumstick (RM10) thrown in for good measure. The noodle, more like thick Udon, is rich in ingredients: 2 medium size prawns, calimari, bits of Char Sui Sui Yuk, plus crispy fried pork fat, bathed in thick soy sauce. Pretty decent. The much praised duck is nowhere near the best in town; a very much misplaced appraisal. One can safely assume the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree of its other roasted varieties.
One of the best shop in sibu selling roasted meats (duck, chicken and pork). Sio bak(siew yok), char sio(char siew) n roasted duck are must trys!
This shop name later changed to Kheng Hock Cafe (2002) due to registration side, in case you can't found it. This kopitiam famous of their coffee (hai nan 海南 coffee) and personally really think that it is the best coffee I can found in sibu town. Besides, their roasted duck, bbq pork also others also not bad. Should drop by if you have chance.
