Tropico Scuba Diving Resort - Sibulan

Im a disabled person and i stayed at tropico resort it was great was taken for my first scuba dive had a great time with will be going back to dive again great rooms good food resturant and bar very well set out friendly people to help out with divers who are disabled which is their specialty all in all a great place to stay and dive and will only get better when they have their big boat that is set up for disabled divers and fast going in febuary

My wife and friends and I had a grea time at Tropico yesterday. I am an American who lives and works in Dumaguete and I came out for the day. Rich, the owner, was very friendly as was his staff. The rooms were clean, the food was delicious and the beers were ice cold! Thek resort has a nice view of Cebu island and the water is very clear. We talked at length about scuba diving and Rich now has me convinced to start learning how to dive. He has a great boat and says he less than a 15 minute ride from some great coral. Just a few minutes more and we can be diving the Sumilon island sandbar. He said another for another great dive we could swim with the whales!I am very impressed and will most definitely be back very soon!

I recently returned to Tropico for the third time, and I was once again impressed by the resort and the diving experience. This charming, pirate-themed resort is located about 15 minutes from town, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It features four very comfortable rooms and a lovely bar and restaurant. I enjoyed the fish and chips and an incredible chef salad for lunch, along with refreshing mango fruit shakes. Rich and Mabel went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. I dove with both Rich and Ron, and we had some fantastic dives. Even when we encountered a strong current, we managed to have an amazing drift dive. The team offers excellent fun dives and operates a PADI SCUBA school, which means they are very committed to producing skilled and safe divers. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends for both staying and diving.

What a wonderful place! Richard is an excellent instructor throughout the entire experience. They really make you feel at home and like part of the family. The boat is fantastic, and there are plenty of amazing diving spots, all just a 15-minute bus ride from Dumaguete, with stops right at the front door. I hope to return soon.
