Food was delicious and the service was amazing! I got the escovitch fish and my guest got the jerk chicken, and we ordered the caramel rum cake.

Food is average but, the drinks are good, service wasn't great at all. The atmosphere is a good vibe though. I've been to this location when it was the “library” bar. The service reminds me a lot of the Bar Louie that used to be in Hyde Park… chaotic and disorganized; seemed as if they were busier looking around rather than taking drink orders. This caribbean themed restaurant is very good. I really enjoyed the crab cake Benjamin where the crabcake was balanced crab and breading. The hollandais sauce was creamy and the poached eggs was perfectly liquid when the yolk was broken. The cornbread muffin was nice contrast of sweet and moistness. The jerk catfish with eggs was nice heat but i felt there was too many bones in the catfish. The hash brown disk was underwhelming, would have liked traditional hash browns on the side. The ambiance was electric! There was a very friendly and proud father of the owner who came around and thanked everyone for coming. The food was sumptuous! I definitely plan to go back. The drinks were tasty, but strong, so watch out! You may want to make a reservation beforehand. The place was jumpin’ and our reservation was in a Thursday night at 8:30!

Great vibe and food! Our server, Sarah was super-friendly and attentive. We were very impressed with the owner's attentiveness to all guest and taking the time to have conversation. We drove 45 minutes for this experience and it was worth it. Shout to Sarah for great service and Rocky for having a dope spot!
